Judd completed both his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religious Studies and Master’s Degree in Community Counseling at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He has experience addressing a wide range of individual concerns, including anxiety, depressive symptoms, anger and difficulty coping with various life stressors, often using a cognitive behavioral approach to treatment. He enjoys working with individuals to identify individualized treatment goals that emphasize each person’s individual strengths. Judd currently provides therapy services to individuals of all ages in the outpatient clinic setting but also offers school-based counseling services to students in local school districts as part of Cornerstone Community Services’ School-Based Counseling Program. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health in various programs and levels of care, including outpatient counseling programs, partial hospitalization programs, school-based counseling and BHRS. ![]() Judd has been an outpatient therapist in Cornerstone Community Services’ Windber Outpatient Clinic since 2009. In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her family, coaching and playing sports, hiking and travelling. While her job titles have varied, Heather has provided a wide variety of services, in both individual and group settings, to people of all ages. While this was a very rewarding experience for Heather, the opportunity to return to the mental health field presented itself and Heather accepted her current position as Clinical Director of Outpatient Services. She then decided to try out a different career path and became the Director of Activities in a local nursing home for a few years. After obtaining her master’s degree, she became a Partial Hospitalization Program director for a number of years. Heather worked as a Mental Health Worker, and during this time, she earned her master’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Indiana University, IN. She then began working as Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) in the schools, which led to her taking a position as a residential youth care worker. She graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation.
